Our training will cover the fundamentals of strength and conditioning for necessary movements within basketball, such as - footwork, body control, core strength, explosiveness, and endurance. The training is designed to progressively overload physical thresholds to achieve sustainable performance that will translate into improved on-court performance.
Our program director, Tim Spence, is the strength and conditioning coordinator for Thornhill Basketball and a Rep coach. Tim has an Honours Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and has worked as both a personal trainer and youth hockey conditioning specialist. As a former competitive athlete, Tim has a wealth of knowledge and experience to help youth basketball players achieve new levels of performance.
