The Junior training program is designed to help prepare players for the following rep/select season. We will focus on the skills necessary to compete at the next age group as outlined in the Long-Term Athlete Development model created by Canada Basketball.

The program will be divided into two 45 minute halves. The first half will focus on skills through drills and the second half will be highlighting these skills during full-court gameplay. Fair-play rules will be implemented and all players will receive equal shifts accordingly.

Senior Training

This program will focus on individual basketball concepts directed heavily towards footwork, shooting and dribbling. An emphasis will be put towards developing physical literacy as outlined in the Long-Term Athlete Development model created by Canada Basketball. These concepts will be progressive and build upon each other.

The program will be divided into two 45 minute halves. The first half will focus on skills through drills and the second half will be highlighting these skills during full-court gameplay. Fair-play rules will not be implemented. At the senior rep level, on-court playing time is determined by the coach and each player must earn their playing time through effort and hard work.
